I was born and raised in Calhoun County and attended Alexandria High School. Upon graduation, I went on to the University of North Alabama and University of Central Oklahoma where I was a member of the volleyball team. I majored in social science with a concentration in education.
I had been around real estate my entire life and I thought one day it was a possibility I would follow in the footsteps of my father. I began my career, while in college, as a leasing agent at a local apartment complex in Edmond, Oklahoma. Over the next five years, I worked myself up the ladder to a management position. Once in a management, I took a position traveling the southeast opening new construction apartment complexes near major universities. Once I was fully acquainted with this career, I was “in”.
In 2015, my husband and I made the decision to move back to Alabama so we could be closer to family and friends. My hometown didn’t have large management companies so I decided to utilize my education degree and go back to the classroom. I took a position at a local school as a K4 teacher. Although teaching is an absolute blessing, I knew real estate was my passion and that is when I made a change. While working for a local real estate company, I obtained my Alabama Real Estate License while still managing single family and multifamily homes.
I always had big dreams of opening my own property management company. It wasn’t long after my return to Alabama that God opened a door. Here I am 19 years later and in January of 2020, I partnered with Kelly Amis and Chris Lindsey to form Good Faith Property Management and Good Faith Realty. We were extremely blessed our first year although COVID had a negative impact on several small businesses.
2021 has already started off with a bang. I am a new agent in State of Georgia and if you have questions about the buying or selling process, it would be my pleasure to help!
